If you’ve been doing EFT for very long, no doubt you’ve heard of the Choices method by Dr. Patricia Carrington. It’s a creative approach to doing the EFT setup phrase where you state a choice you want to make in the last part of the statement. For example, in a typical EFT setup statement you’d say, “Even though I really dislike taking tests, I deeply and completely accept myself. With the Choices method it might be, “Even though I really dislike taking tests, I CHOOSE to find a surprisingly fun or positively motivating way to take them.”

Learning EFT: Fall Down and Get Back Up

Sometimes people tell me that they have tried EFT and it doesn’t work for them. Of course, I ask them how many times they have done it. They might say a half-dozen times. Or, they might say a bunch. They never say two or three hundred times. And, until you’ve done it at least 50 times, don’t give up. Simply change your approach. Be like a toddler again. Let me explain.

A couple of years ago, I read about a fascinating person named Dr. Masaru Emoto. He’s a researcher and photographer residing in Japan. Dr. Emoto has published several books including, The Hidden Messages in Water. If you have any doubt that your thoughts and feelings affect everything in and around you, the information and photographs presented in his book may change your mind and alter your beliefs profoundly.
