The Bored Ultimatum

I saw the film, The Borne Ultimatum, yesterday. It was pure entertainment. Director Paul Greengrass put together a movie that was suspenseful, action-packed and clever, keeping the audience engaged for 111 minutes with excellent acting, hand-held camera shots and tight-editing. Visually, it zipped along with action sequences peppered with quick-cut screen images and dramatic music. Lindsay Kenny

When I was in college, I read a book by John Powell titled, Why am I Afraid to Tell You Who I Am? In the book, the author said that for a person to reveal his or her self takes the rawest kind of courage and that we can only know that much of ourselves as we have the courage to confide in others. In fact, she openly shares her life experiences mentioning her “horrible” childhood, being poor and the time in her life where there was such a fog of depression, she was on the verge of suicide. This led her to discovering EFT which was a major turning point in her life and career. Today, as an EFT Master Practitioner, her practice is thriving.

Anger Management %@#&!

Hey, people get angry. It’s a normal emotion. Sometimes anger can even be a helpful way to make a decision or get motivated to act on an important issue. The problem is that a lot of people haven’t learned ways to let go of their anger. They hold onto it until it builds into an unhealthy emotional state. As a result, we see anger and rage in politics, sports, driving, and nasty divorces. Anger Management is becoming an industry. Probably the most well known firm in anger management is Anderson & Anderson, located in Brentwood California. Check out their blog, Notes from the World of Anger Management. Robert Siegel did an interesting piece on National Public Radio called The Anger Management Industry.
